Last weekend Central hosted Western for a tough fought match up that ended 119-0 in favor of the Wildcats. Western’s mostly-rookie team played hard and learned a lot on the fly against a stout Wildcat team. There is definitely a lot of potential for them down the road! As far as match ups for this Halloweekend, Western will play hosts to the Dawgs of UW and EWU will travel to Western Oregon. Make sure you send your match report sheets in after the games are over! And try to catch New Zealand and Australia in the Rugby World Cup final tomorrow morning if you get a chance! It’s on at 9am PST. Happy Halloween!

A few things explained
Who goes and who stays?
The CCWRC Conference Champion team will have an automatic bid into play off rounds.
How will we decide the Champion?
USA Rugby requires (with some provisos of understanding) that all teams play 5 games to qualify for post-season. As we get scores from the last season and this seaon, CCWRC will discuss with all teams what the conference championship will look like, where it will be, and how many teams will be involved. Check your emails as the season progresses.
What if you are 2nd in the conference?
This is where the (Possible) Round of 32 comes in. If you do not get an automatic qualify bid (i.e. first place) you can submit an At Large Selection. Depending on what USA rugby feels this may qualify you for post-season play.
What does this mean for you right now?
Keep playing hard and schedule friendlies with teams that will challenge you.
Start fundraising for travel!
Send your unnoficial scores to vicepresident.ccwrc@gmail.com. While these won’t be final scores it may be a quicker way to keep our page updated.

Technical Difficulties–Scores
Hello CCWRC. We apologize for the delay in scores. The PNRRS has switched over to a new ref reporting system. This has caused delays in getting officials scores to CCWRC.
If you have scores from your games please email them to vicepresident.ccwrc@gmail.com
We will post unofficial scores until we have the official scores.
Thank you!

Calling all Rugger Artists
CCWRC is in desperate need of a logo.
As CCWRC is a conference made up of talented individuals we want you submit your name and idea to develop your CCWRC logo.
The parameters for the logo were laid out at our first AGM and are: a focus on tress, mountain and water, utilizing an ice blue as the main standout color, incorporating the PNW green and black. Other than that this is fair game.
This could go on your resume and in your portfolio, Plus you will have the pride and privilege of seeing your logo on our webpage, social media sites, t-shirts, tattoos—okay maybe not tattoos, but it will be everywhere we can put it!
Please submit your name to vicepresident.ccwrc@gmail.com to enter.
The hope is to have multiple logo designs which can be voted on by CCWRC team members–it wouldn’t be rugby without a little competition!
